Learn to recognize the 15 species of diurnal raptors that can be seen in Northwest Washington. Sue Cottrell, founder of the non-profit Raptor Studies Northwest, will introduce you to their field marks, common behaviors and the best locations to get outside and view these magnificent birds!  Sue will also talk about her current projects studying Avian Keratin Disorder in Buteos and an American Kestrel nest box project.
