Kids will enjoy learning about local Washington birds through activities and storytime with Lori Kothe, author of Birds Near My Home and the City by the Sea. Held in the workshop room of the Center next to the festival Expo, this offers a quiet space for kids to hear about our birds, share a bird story of their own or make a drawing of their favorite bird.
