Storytelling & Kite Making, by Ron Snyder & Cathy Taggett
Saturday, March 19- On the Hour from 10 AM- 3 PM
Where: Tent located outside of the Blaine Community Pavilion, 635 8th Street, Blaine
Space is limited, masks are required for ages 5 and up in the tent.

Storyteller, Ron Snyder will tell a 10-minute interactive story with the theme of an Eagle, followed by artist Cathy Taggett leading a bird inspired kite-making activity for up to 10 kids. Ron will also demonstrate Native American whistle making from bird bones, and share artifacts depicting the Native American people’s relationship to the animal people and the environment.

Storyteller, Ron Snyder is a retired principal from a Seattle Alternative School where his wife. Cathy Taggett was also an art teacher. They have created and participate in a wide variety of projects enhancing our community. They own The Circle of Trees Studio and Homestead just outside of Blaine.
